2012 Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition Review

The new Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition, a net addition of hand-finished products will debut at the Motor Show in Geneva 2011.

This latest edition features new and exclusive 20 "alloy wheels multi-diamond cards and tailgate. Customers can also design a package of exterior and secondary deployment.


The all-V8 engine line-up includes the amazing new 4.4-liter diesel TDV8-LR with a new gearbox with drive select integrates eight paddles as standard. The LR-TDV8 combines higher power with 313PS and 700 Nm of torque while delivering fuel consumption even lower emissions and 14% less CO2 than its predecessor in accordance with the strict EU5 emission. The combined cycle fuel consumption of fuel of the new 4.4-liter LR-TDV8 is just 30.1mpg, making it the first Range Rover to better 30mpg.

Transmission ZF 8-speed automatic developed by Land Rover engineers to combine moves silky smooth with exceptionally fast response and improved fuel economy, catapults Range Rover rest to 60 mph in just 7.5 seconds and complete the 50 mph-75 mph dash in just 5.1 seconds.

Both variants come with award-winning Land Rover Terrain Response system, which optimizes settings for almost all the car on the road or driving conditions off-road, with five different settings to suit different terrains, including boot Coast Assist new and Acceleration Gradient Control.

The latest edition was designed, developed and manufactured in the UK and exclusivity ensures that each vehicle will be built to customer order only. 500 units will be produced and sold in over 20 markets worldwide.
